FamilyVoice appalled by Upper House MPs
Thursday, July 6, 2017

Christian advocacy group FamilyVoice Australia has strongly criticised upper house MPs who voted in favour of legal brothels.

“We are appalled that MPs with families would vote in favour of so-called sex work,” said FamilyVoice National Director Ashley Saunders.

“Each prostitute is someone’s daughter,” he said.

“Since MPs would be horrified if their 18-year old daughter was legally approached by a pimp to earn fast money in a brothel, the law should continue to protect against that possibility.”
