“Queenslanders head to the polls in just over two weeks’ time,” FamilyVoice state director Geoffrey Bullock said today.
“To help them decide how to number their ballot papers, we have prepared ten questions to find out where candidates stand on key family, faith and freedom issues. They include prayers in parliament, child pornography, school bullying programs, adoption laws, abortion and outdoor advertising.
“We are encouraging Queenslanders to download the questions (click here). They can then be printed out or emailed to the state MP and other candidates in their local electorate, to get information to help decide preferences on polling day.”
Geoffrey Bullock is also urging voters to number every square instead of just voting “1”. “If your first preference doesn’t make it, your other preferences are very important!” he said.
